@westbeach79 “Classic 79 Surfers” hoodie, 2026

Like @2pac (ha) I am “east coast born, west coast raised”.

My family moved from Desert Lake, Ontario to North Vancouver, BC just before my tenth birthday - in time for Summer and the promise of Seasons Passes to Expo ‘86.

As a teenager, I grew up with whispers of, “west coast/best coast”. <Disclaimer: while the west coast IS certainly magical, parts of my heart/soul belong to the east coast, too.>

Growing up in Vancouver also meant growing up with @westbeach79. Naturally, when I saw the opportunity to own the “Classic 79 Surfers” hoodie in 2026 - I clicked on, “Add to cart” and “Check out” with zero hesitation.
